SERVICES

Manual Therapy Techniques

All of our therapists utilize a variety of manual techniques to restore soft tissue mobility and return your body to its normal function. These techniques can include myofascial release, joint mobilizations, trigger point release, edema mobilization, craniosacral therapy and muscle energy techniques.

Graston Technique

The Graston technique is utilized by therapists to eliminate fascial restrictions and scar tissue that limits functional motion. To accomplish this, the therapist will use metal instruments on your skin which releases muscles that are not moving properly. This technique stimulates circulation and promotes healing.

Trigger Point Dry Needling

This technique uses the insertion of a filament needling into a trigger point, or hyper-irritable spot in a muscle. It elicits a muscle twitch causing eventual relaxation of the trigger point. Our therapists are able to pin-point and target specific trigger points that may refer pain to other parts of the body.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping can be used to decrease muscle spasm, retrain normal movement patterns, decrease swelling, eliminate bruising, and support injured tendons and ligaments. This taping technique is integrated in to the overall rehabilitation program to enable each patient to meet their specific clinical goals.
