Phyllis Onksen, PT/Owner

Phyllis attended Tufts University and earned Bachelor’s Degrees in psychology and education. She then continued on at Boston Bouve’ School where she received her degree in Physical Therapy. She has been an integral part of the physical therapy world, especially in the Milford area where she worked in various settings prior to opening Physical Therapy Center of Milford in 1988. Since then, she has utilized many therapeutic techniques to help her patients regain function. She enjoys treating various orthopedic conditions, as well as, patients who are pre or post-operative with muscle energy techniques, focused exercises and balance activities. 

In her free time Phyllis enjoys gardening and spending time with her family. She enjoys being outdoors, in her garden, as much as possible. In the past she has raised saddlebred horses.

MARJA-LIISA KUPIAINEN,   PT, DPT

Marja-Liisa received her certificate in Physiotherapy in Finland where she lived until 1991. Upon moving to the US, she has worked in many outpatient settings. In 2010 she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University. She enjoys treating many orthopedic conditions, utilizing manual therapy techniques from both her schooling in Finland and at Franklin Pierce. 

In her free time, Marja-Liisa enjoys ballroom dancing, gardening, hiking, and listening to classical music. She also enjoys dog sitting for her friends.
